Salvation is the forgiveness of sin and the gift of eternal life with God. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross for each of us. John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Verse 17 states, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Romans 10:9 states, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Belief in Jesus Christ is vital for salvation. It is important that those seeking salvation openly confess with the mouth their belief in the Lord Jesus. Romans 10:10 states, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Salvation can only come from God through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 states, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

What is life after salvation?

Life after salvation should be a renewal of the mind and letting go of past deeds to embrace the purpose and plan that God has for you. 2 Corinthians 5:17 states, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. It is vital for believers to hear the word of God to build their faith.” Romans 10:17 states, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
