ABOUT OUR FIRST LADY

Nu-Way Ministries wasn’t built by any magic potion or miracle. At any point in the last 21 years you could have found Peggy Sue Cooper sitting comfortably at her home office computer chair where the magic happened. At the flick of a wrist she could pull from her computer hard drive, or a room stacked with boxes: organized files, business documents, church programs dating decades back.

This is how its always been, her husband being the voice of the vision and Peggy Sue being the silent powerful hammer that engraved them into San Diego history. Peggy Sue Cooper’s talent for administration has proved to be rock solid with her husband. Any one who knows Peggy’s early life would in no way be surprised that her skills for vision, organization, and detail have taken her so far. Peggy has always been organized and tactical- raised the Lincoln Park community with her 8 siblings.

Her attention to detail blossomed further as a teen, and became evident when she graduated a year before her graduating class. Peggy had a soaring grade point average. During her time as a student at Abraham Lincoln Senior High School Peggy served as an office volunteer. It was at this time 16 year old Peggy utilized her skills for administration to sneak into Steve Cooper’s student file and copy down his telephone number and birthday. She later used this information to give Steve Cooper a personal birthday call. It’s been nearly four decades since she made that move and they have been calling each other ever since.

Peggy Sue Cooper is a woman of prayer, fasting, and belief. Her faith has been a silent weapon to her success as a businesswomen, mother and author. Her faith has brought her through the darkest of times and into so much joy today. It is not known to some that Peggy in her 40’s went through a rocky time. She battled major health issues while doctors questioned if she would ever return to normal health but God had a reason for that trial. Through faith she prevailed, recovered, and emerged with a God given vision for the book series “BeTimes”. BeTimes is a book of personal memoirs, reflections, scripture vignettes, and prayers that encourage individuals to “Be” all God has called them to.

“BeTimes” holds much personal value for First Lady Cooper, it represents a new phase in her life- change and loving all Gods People
